Robertson s.r.o was established by Christopher Robertson in early 2003 in order to buy and operate an existing butcher’s shop in Prague 4. After considerable modernisation, the Nusle, Prague 4 butchers shop opened in September, 2003, and was very quickly a huge success due to its extensive range of home-produced meats and meat products, many of which were, at that time, a rarity in Prague.

Since opening the Nusle shop in 2003, Robertson has continued to expand, opening its second shop in Dejvice, Prague 6 in October, 2004, but this time with a focus on British delicatessen products. This shop was an immediate hit, particularly amongst the expatriate community, many of whom had, until that time, been bringing their favourite products over from the UK whenever they were able to travel. 

By the middle of 2010, Robertson had expanded its shops to include a second delicatessen in Prague 2 – Vinohrady, as well as enabling customers to buy both its meat and delicatessen products on-line through its E-shop. Its second butchers shop opened in Dolní Břežany in April, 2011.

Now one of the most established and best regarded butchers in the city, as well as the operator of two of the most successful delicatessen, Robertson is popular amongst both the local and international community for its range of meat and other products, as well as many of the leading hotels and restaurants, to whom it also supplies.

All of the Roberson shops stock a wide selection of premium meats, essential British groceries and speciality  products. The delicatessens, in particular, stock all the  major British brands and a selection of international goods.

Robertson prepares all of its quality meat products, including steaks, bacon and sausages, in its Prague 4, Nusle shop, from where they are distributed to the other three shops early in the morning to ensure freshness, and also distributed to hotels, restaurants and other outlets in Prague and the Czech Republic.
