Robertson's Premium Meats

I came to the Czech Republic in 1995 originally for a few months to work on a large beef farm in Western Bohemia. The world of agriculture brought me into the meat sector and in 2003 I decided to open a butcher's shop in Prague 4 - Nusle. Our range of products was inspired by my British roots with bacon and sausages being key items. One thing led to another and in 2004 I opened a shop in Prague 6 - Dejvice with freshly prepared meats and imported British products such as tea, biscuits etc. In 2010 I opened a similar shop in Prague 2 - Vinohrady. In 2011 I also opened a new butcher's in Dolní Břežany.

After all of this expansion the decision was made during 2012 to focus on the meat side of the business which coincided with our family moving to the country and establishing a livestock farm. We currently breed sheep, cattle and poultry. Moving back to the country and being involved in agriculture again meant a dream come true and a return to my upbringing amongst the sheep and cattle in Northumberland, England. Our farm is organic certified and having witnessed the whole rearing process from the beginning to the end we can guarantee products of the highest quality.

The shops in Dejvice and Vinohrady were taken over by the Candy Store during 2013. Our shop in Prague 4 - Nusle closed in 2019 due to expiration of the lease.

At present we have one shop in Dolní Břežany and our products can be ordered via our eshop for delivery in Prague and the suburbs or for collection from our shop. We also supply our products to restaurants and catering outlets.
